Nowhere Special: How to Create Standout Portraits in Everyday Spaces | Audrey Woulard
Great photographs do not require extraordinary locations. During this hands-on photo walk, Audrey Woulard will show attendees how she evaluates everyday environments and uses light, composition, camera position, and subject placement to create strong images in places others might overlook. Attendees will learn how to see more possibilities within a single location and create variety without constantly searching for a new backdrop, including how to quickly evaluate a location for its strongest photographic possibilities, how to use camera position and composition to transform ordinary surroundings, how to choose subject placement based on available light and background, how to create multiple distinctly different images within one location, and how to make faster decisions when working in unfamiliar environments.
