Inside Two Shoots from Research to Final Frame
Two shoots, broken down piece by piece. Mark Clennon walks through the TIME cover portrait of LeBron James, conceived in a 48-hour window and shot inside the Lakers practice facility, and a national jewelry campaign made with the client standing behind the monitor. For each one, he shows the research, the mood board, the lighting plan, what changed on the day, and the frames that didn't make it.
Attendees will learn how to build a mood board that survives client revisions and still gets you the picture you wanted, and how to plan lighting around the feeling you're after instead of chasing a trend. Mark will break down how to direct a subject you may only have twelve minutes with, and how to make the call when the plan breaks on set and the clock is running. You'll also come away understanding how selects, printing, and retouching decisions shape the final look, long after the shoot itself is over.
