The Feminine Frame: Capturing Shape, Grace, and Connection

SeminarPortrait

Cate Scaglione shares an approach to posing and lighting that celebrates the individual woman in front of the lens. Drawing inspiration from master painters, she’ll show you how to see the body as shapes, lines, and curves, and use lens choice, perspective, styling, and soft light to create graceful, expressive portraits.

Through demonstrations, Cate will explore how thoughtful direction helps clients feel confident and connected, creating fluid poses that feel authentic. She’ll also share how she adapts her communication to each woman’s personality and stage of life.
You’ll learn how to flatter different body shapes, create dimension with soft light, and guide clients into natural, expressive poses.

No equipment needed. Bring a notebook and an open mind.
