In this hands-on Photo Walk, Malike Sidibe will guide you through the technical setup and creative possibilities of blending long exposures with strobe light. You’ll learn how to direct subjects, control exposure, and create striking images that capture movement and stillness in a single frame. What You’ll Learn: Balancing slow shutter speeds with strobe power Using front and rear curtain sync for different effects Directing subjects to create intentional motion trails Setting up camera and studio lights for reliable results Recommended Gear: Nikon DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual controls and a hot shoe. A standard zoom lens and a tripod are also suggested. All studio lighting and triggers will be provided.
