One Light, Any Location: Creating Striking Portraits Anywhere
Great portrait locations aren't always found; they're created. In this hands-on photo walk, Sony Artisan Scott Robert Lim will show attendees how to produce striking portraits anytime, anywhere, using just one light.
Attendees will learn how to transform a single light into a main light, backlight, sidelight, hard light, or soft light, and how to use it to create dramatic shadows, control unwanted ambient light, and bring shape and dimension to a subject. Scott will demonstrate how lighting works together with posing, camera angle, lens choice, and creative composition to turn ordinary surroundings into compelling portrait opportunities.
Attendees will leave with a practical, repeatable approach for quickly evaluating any location, solving difficult lighting situations, and creating professional-quality portraits with minimal equipment.
