Aundre Larrow
Aundre Larrow is a Jamaican-born photographer based in New York City. With over a decade of editorial and commercial experience, he brings a sense of wonder to each project. From photographing The North Face's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge expedition to capturing production stills on the set of W. Kamau Bell's United Shades of America (CNN Original Series), Larrow captures authentic moments in unlikely places. For him, the images have to look right, but more than that, they have to feel right.
When Larrow was 15 years old, a teacher gave him a Minolta, opening up a new way of seeing the world. He discovered that in the quickness of a click, details are revealed that can easily be overlooked, allowing him to deeply engage with others, restoring their dignity to be viewed as they truly are, and moving beyond the artifice of identity. With this ethos, he has traveled across the country to document stories of perseverance, including projects collaborating with formerly incarcerated individuals fighting for their right to vote in Florida, and with workers on America's largest Black-owned farm in Oklahoma.
Larrow continues to bring his sense of adventure and social responsibility to his work with brands such as Chase Sapphire, Gagosian, Apple, Adidas, Google, and Adobe, where he serves as a Creative Resident.
