When WPPI decided to discontinue their photography competition in 2023\, Jerry and Melissa Ghionis launched the Icon Awards and continued this tradition of celebrating excellence in photography.\nEntries in the competition will be anonymously scored by five judges\, with final scores determining eligibility for silver\, gold\, and platinum awards\, along with digital badges and certificates.
