DESCRIPTION:Join fine art photographer Bella Kotak for a hands-on photo walk exploring how to transform an ordinary location into an imaginative\, atmospheric portrait. Follow Bella's creative process as she builds an image from the ground up\, looking for beautiful light\, unexpected backgrounds\, and compositions that help elevate a scene. You'll photograph alongside her while learning how she directs and poses her subject\, works with the environment\, and makes intentional creative choices in camera. You'll learn how to find beautiful light and potential in everyday locations\, how to compose a scene for a more imaginative\, fine art feel\, how to pose and direct your subject with confidence\, how to use foreground\, depth\, and perspective creatively\, and how to develop your own visual approach rather than simply recreating what you see. Recommended gear: a camera with a portrait lens. Bella recommends a 35mm\, 50mm\, or 85mm lens. No additional lighting equipment is required.\n(This class requires pre-registration.
